18 Capsule Wardrobe Essentials For Spring

Our Simple Spring Wardrobe

Maybe it’s just us, but we’re not feeling the bright pinks, greens, and yellows of spring just yet. While we eagerly hope for brighter technicolor days, our spring style is revolving around earth tones, easy-to-wear dresses, and stretchy layers. Whether we’re popping out for a walk around the neighborhood or finally soaking up a little sunshine at a park picnic, we’re gravitating—still—towards comfort.

Plus, we’re excited to play more with accessories, especially since we’re dusting off some of our favorite existing wardrobe staples. Playful sunglasses, versatile bags, and funky recycled glass jewelry? Yes, please!

When we do opt to shop outside of our own closets, we turn to secondhand clothing and small brands (like the ones below) for pieces we’ll wear for years to come. These are the 18 garments and accessories that are inspiring our spring capsule wardrobe. Be sure to share in the comments what garments you have on heavy rotation this season!

If you’re embarking on a capsule for the first time, or want to get inspired by the variety of capsule wardrobes people practice, check out our deep dive into what capsule wardrobes are here.
